ConsenSys Buys HAL To Improve Infura’s Blockchain Data Automation
Consensys, a prominent firm specializing in developing Ethereum network software, has recently purchased HAL. HAL is a blockchain data automation and monitoring system that enables users to listen to data without coding.
The system includes automated workflow tools that facilitate real-time notifications about decentralized governance, digital assets trading, and various other areas. Users can receive notifications through multiple channels, such as Telegram, email, Discord, etc.
HAL’s Ten Employees To Join ConsenSys
According to ConsenSys, HAL’s acquisition will result in ten employees from HAL joining its workforce. These employees will utilize their expertise in developing no-code/low-code blockchain solutions to enhance the Infura software.
In addition, they will use their experience to improve the services Metamask users enjoy. The team anticipates that HAL will bring valuable technical expertise, particularly in creating and implementing effective blockchain automation systems.
Meanwhile, Infura co-founder, Eleazar Galano, stated that the company’s major objective is to ensure that developers have a smooth, uninterrupted experience from start to finish.
“One of the top trends in this regard is the emergence of no-code/low-code solutions. With over 40 higher-level APIs for on-chain/blockchain signals and listening, Hal is an ideal match for Infura. It helps deliver a seamless end-to-end user experience,” Galano added.
Despite significantly reducing its workforce during the crypto winter, ConsenSys remains committed to pursuing robust acquisition opportunities. It is actively exploring potential projects in various areas of Web3, including wallet security, layer-2 scalability, and account abstraction.
Arbitrum Flips Ethereum In Number Of Processed Transactions
ETH retains its position as the most prominent altcoin globally. This is largely due to the unwavering commitment of its development teams and the noteworthy contributions made by firms such as ConsenSys, founded by Joe Lubin.
By creating robust solutions that leverage Ethereum’s technology, such as Infura, ConsenSys has made it easier for developers to connect to the blockchain without friction. On Tuesday, ConsenSys took to Twitter to encourage the public to join the KZG ceremony.
The ceremony is an important step towards the next phase in Ethereum’s blueprint, proto-dank sharding (EIP-4844). Ethereum supporters expect the upgrade to increase the amount of data carried by each block on the blockchain and, as a result, reduce gas fees.
However, the Ethereum network has faced massive competition from layer-2 scaling solutions. One of them is the Arbitrum network which has gathered momentum recently.
According to Dune data, on February 21st, Arbitrum, a layer-2 Ethereum scaling solution, processed 1.14 million transactions, which is higher than the number of transactions processed on the Ethereum mainnet. This new 24-hour all-time high for Arbitrum exceeded the Ethereum mainnet by an impressive 1.05 million transactions.
